We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach, a premier RV and cottage resort. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and safety of our resort facilities, including RV sites, cottages, amenities, and common areas. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on resort facilities, including cottages, RV sites, comfort stations, commons areas, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and cooling units.
Repair or replace faulty equipment, appliances, plumbing, and electrical components as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and resort policies to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Work closely with other team members to ensure that guest accommodations and amenities are in excellent condition.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance, construction, or a similar role (general repair, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
Knowledge of resort safety and maintenance standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors, and perform manual labor.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
This is a full-time, seasonal position working at Sun Outdoors located in Conway, SC. This is a second shift position, but also flexible scheduling required, including weekends and holidays. We offer paid sick time, discounted travel program benefits for team members, plus more!
