The Steward / Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area. This includes washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring an organized and safe environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, counters, floors, and storage areas.
- Properly store and organize cleaned items.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to resort standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
