What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Bartender (Full-Time / Seasonal) position at Sun Outdoors Ocean City?
Overview
The Lead Bartender assists the Restaurant Manager in the pool and Tiki bars.
JOB DUTIES
- Coordinates team member selection, training, schedule, and development of bartenders and ensures all team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
- Organizes and prioritizes work schedules of retail team to ensure adequate coverage is available at all times.
- Ensures guests and residents receive the highest levels of service consistent with Sun’s customer service philosophy.
- Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all transactions.
- Ensure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked. Communicate inventory shortages to manager.
- Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working order.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior supervisor experience preferred.
- Prior bartending experience required
- High School Education (some HS education preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and the internet
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Flexible schedule based on business needs

Required- 1 year(s): Bartender / Lead Bartender or related experience.
