About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Sun Prairie Senior Living. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by attending physicians
- Maintain accurate resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations
- Conduct thorough searches for any new medications brought into the facility by residents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create a caring and compassionate environment
- Ensure adherence to health campus policies and procedures regarding medication disposal
Requirements:
- Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide)
- Experience as a QMA or CMA in long-term care or home care settings is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
