Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing work flow, materials and personnel/ coworkers in building portable storage building in our indoor facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. As a shop foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Work with sales team and shop workers to efficiently build sheds
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction role is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices related to construction or industrial environments is preferred.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
