Position Overview:
As a Clinical Supervisor at Sun River Health, you will provide clinical oversight and supervision to a dynamic team of behavioral health professionals. This role involves direct management of cases, including overseeing intakes and discharges, conducting in-service training, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires some local travel within Suffolk County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Training: Provide clinical supervision to staff, offering guidance on cases, treatment plans, and documentation standards. Lead ongoing in-service training and professional development for clinical staff.
- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of patients in a busy outpatient behavioral health clinic, providing individual therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination services.
- Program Oversight: Ensure that clinical services meet all regulatory and accreditation standards, including Article 28 guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and behavioral health professionals, to ensure holistic care delivery. Act as a liaison between clinical staff, administration, and external stakeholders.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensing: Must hold a valid New York State LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, with supervisory experience strongly preferred. Prior experience in an Article 28 Clinic is a plus.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention skills. Ability to supervise and mentor staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel locally within Suffolk County.
