What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAT Peer Adherence Worker position at Sun River Health?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Uses Harm reduction strategies to engage new patients, provide recovery support, and support in the case of overdose.
· Has knowledge of community resources and links patients to recovery supports and community services.
· Understanding of and compliance with all HIPPA, OASAS, MAT, and other health-related legal policies and procedures, as well as internal Sun River Health Center policies and procedures.
· Demonstrates an understanding of harm reduction principles and has respect for everyone’s unique path to recovery.
· Facilitates Naloxone, Fentanyl test strip, Xylazine test strip, and harm reduction training for staff, patients, and the community.
· Assists patient with completing recovery support plans.
· Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement, case conferences, staff meetings, and supervision.
· Ability to complete electronic and written forms and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
· Participates in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
· Provides health education and adherence support to patients.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Education: Associate’s degree, Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
