Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to lead our team at the Riverhead site. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with experience in leading clinical teams and developing health care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical teams and develop health care services that meet the needs of our patients;
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to ensure seamless patient care;
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes;
- Treat conditions and illnesses within the scope of their specialty and refer patients when indicated;
- Participate in after-hours coverage to ensure 24-hour availability of care for Center patients.
