Job Description
This is a field based Individual Contributor role (Area Sales Manager) position responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, assigned sales quotas, and account penetration within the Upstate NY and New Jersey area by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Contact and secure new business accounts/customers.

- You will be responsible for Sun Scientific's entire bag of products, which include:
- AeroWrap
- AeroDVx
- AeroCare
- ExuCare (wound)
Minimum Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree required or BSN/RN degree
- 2-3 years successful Business to business sales
- Prefer minimum of 1 years of successful outside sales or clinical support experience in medical devices/medical products
- Considered a plus if candidate has a clinical background
- Highly organized, has very effective time management skills, and customer focused
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong negotiating skills and capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills
- Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, as well as networks and internet applications
Job Requirements
- Sell portfolio of medical device products to new and existing customers within Wound Care (vascular docs, lymphedema clinics/wound clinics, private practice, hospitals)
- Develop and implement tactical sales plans for growing new business and expanding current business within the territory.
- Maintain complete ownership over designated accounts within the territory.
- Work with other sales and marketing employees to enhance technical visibility and company image within all accounts.
- Establish and manage the territory’s target list and forecast for prospective accounts.
- Build and maintain professional business relationships with physicians, nurses, and technicians.
- Conduct sales presentations to large and small groups and demonstrate the use of the medical device product portfolio to prospective end-user.
- Provide in-servicing and clinical information to providers, staff and occasionally patients
- Prospect via phone and cold calling.
- Utilize a variety of selling skills and techniques to achieve minimum quota standards.
- Provide reports to management on activities, forecasts, sales, and projects accurately and on time.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of competitive products and services.
Compensation Information
- Base: $60k-$75k
- Variable commissions
