What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Specialist - Prop 47 position at Sun Street Centers?
The Outreach Specialist will have extensive knowledge of the South Monterey County community and available resources. They will help to identify and engage potential clients around possible substance use disorder and/or mental health disorder symptoms, provide education, decrease stigma, and link them to the resources that are available through the Proposition 47 collaborative. This position works closely with Monterey County Behavioral Health. This position will be mobile and have office hours in the South County locations of King City and Gonzales. They will act as SUD Access Specialist as a component of Enhanced Care Management for County of Monterey.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree with two-year experience, or associate degree with 4 years, or master’s level in social work, public health, or related field.
