Assistant Director of Kids Care/Preschool
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Salary Range: $41,000 - $50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT SUN VALLEY EDUCATION:
As the Assistant Director of Kids Care/Preschool at Sun Valley Education, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our Kids Care and Preschool programs. Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the programs, handling billing procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to resolve concerns raised by parents and families. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and managing staff members, including training, development and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations set forth by the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Department of Economic Security for program operation.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborating with other departments to promote program integration and alignment with organizational goals.
- Resolving parent and family inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate program records and documentation.
- Participating in strategic planning initiatives to drive program growth and expansion.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED with 60 hours ECE* trainings & an additional 12 hours training in program administration, planning, development or management and 24 months experience
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for program operation, including those set forth by the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Department of Economic Security.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, parents, families, and community partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in ECE*/closely related field and 6 months experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. and 3 months experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership or management role within a Kids Care or Preschool program
- Previous experience working in a charter school or educational setting.
- Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
