The Preschool Teacher Assistant oversees and implements daily class activities, supports guests' and students' emotional well-being, and maintains a professional, safe, and positive work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Implement lesson plans and maintain daily classroom schedules
- Help the teacher prepare lessons, including collecting materials and setting up equipment
- Support each child's social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development
- Always Ensuring the well-being and safety of children, attending to the children's general needs
- Use various instructional and assessment strategies, as directed by the teacher, to meet individual student learning needs
- Assist students with assignments or complex concepts
- Maintain communication with parents, staff, and faculty regarding students' progress
- Implement state, school, and class rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean / organized environment for the children to thrive
- Additional duties and responsibilities as they present themselves
