What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa & Pool Front Desk position at Sun Valley Resort?
The primary function of the Spa & Pool Front Desk position is providing first-contact customer interaction, including booking spa and salon services, checking in guests, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the guest areas, including the spa boutique. Any Guest Service team member must be able to adapt to changing workplace demands and requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner

Provide information about spa, salon, and pool services, pricing, and promotions

Answer phone calls and respond to emails regarding appointments and inquiries

Schedule, modify, and cancel spa and salon appointments as requested

Check guests in and out for spa and salon services, ensuring a seamless experience

Handle guest concerns or complaints and escalate issues when necessary

Process payments for services and retail products

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, spa boutique, pool areas, and guest areas

Stock retail shelves, spa amenities, and towels as needed

Assist in additional duties as assigned by management based on business needs
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to read and speak English fluently is mandatory
- Familiarity with essential phone & computer knowledge & skills
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service, communication, and listening skills
- Must be detail-oriented and multi-task while being efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
- Flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon shifts, weekends & holidays
- Must safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplace
