What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa & Pool Front Desk position at Sun Valley Resort?
The primary function of the Spa & Pool Front Desk position is providing first-contact customer interaction, including booking spa & salon services, checking in guests, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the guest areas, including the spa boutique. Any Guest Service team member must be able to adapt to meet changing demands and requirements while in the workplace.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service, communication and listening skills.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly & outgoing personality.
- Ability and willingness to always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Familiarity with essential phone & computer knowledge & skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task while being efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment and limit mistakes under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon shifts, weekends & holidays.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to read and speak English fluently is mandatory
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
- Can interact with co-workers positively and understand what team means
