Sun Valley Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Professional to lead our recruitment strategy and ensure we attract top-tier talent to enhance our world-class guest and employee experience. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment initiatives, fostering strong partnerships, and driving innovative sourcing strategies to meet the resort’s seasonal and year-round staffing needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top hospitality and resort talent.
- Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and create proactive recruitment plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, vocational schools, and industry organizations to create a pipeline of candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to create compliant job descriptions that align with Sun Valley Resort employer branding.
- Post job openings on various job boards, company websites, and other recruitment platforms to ensure broad visibility.
- Utilize UKG Recruiting system and data analytics to drive recruitment efficiency and decision-making.
- Oversee H-2B visa positions in petitioning, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and resource on company benefits, facilities, housing availability & cost, and job opportunities to potential candidates.
- Enhance Sun Valley Resort’s employer brand through targeted recruitment marketing, social media, and community engagement.
- Represent Sun Valley Resort at job fairs, career expos, and networking events, delivering engaging presentations and fostering relationships with potential candidates.
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on best hiring practices, interview techniques, and employer branding.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on recruiting trends, labor market conditions, and best practices to enhance talent acquisition strategies.
- Assist departments in determining optimal employee headcount to align with labor costs and operational efficiency.
- Respond to internal and external recruitment-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Admin on UKG Recruiting from candidate application to onboarding. Including offer approval, background check, hire status, and sending onboarding paperwork.
- Generate recruitment reports as needed.
- Other duties and HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Experience managing seasonal hiring and international work programs is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience.
- Ability to have difficult but professional conversations to improve business outcomes.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; variable schedule (s) as needed.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with approved driving record.
