Service Center Manager
A major rotating equipment company has an immediate opening for a full-time Service Center Manager in Salt Lake City.
The successful candidate would provide technical support through the outside sales people as well as directly to the customer. Typical technical issues and questions would involve : trouble-shooting; mechanical design improvements; hydraulic rerates and enhancements; vibration analysis; pressure boundary analysis; metallurgical problem solving including corrosion and / or erosion problems; optimize plant systems / rotating equipment interfaces; retrofits; maintenance and system operation limitations; thrust calculations; seal and seal flush plan optimization; and baseplates.
Qualifications :
The position requires an individual that is highly experienced in rotating equipment machinery.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required, although the company would consider a candidate with equivalent training or experience.
Proficient analytical and computer skills are mandatory.
Knowledge of AutoCAD would be very beneficial.
A minimum five (5) years’ field pump experience.
