Pay Rate: $16 - $17/hr on W2

Duration: 6 months contract

Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Initial / Temporary Schedule (for 1-month of training): 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Overview

• The Associate Production Area Specialist I plays a key role in the manufacturing of high-quality golf clubs by ensuring that all components are accurately picked, handled, modified, and prepared for assembly.
• This position requires attention to detail, physical dexterity, and the ability to follow precise specifications to ensure that every component meets quality standards before entering the assembly line.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Verify component quality and correct part numbers before use.
• Safely handle and transport components to various production stations.
• Modify components as required, ensuring they meet the specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Confirm that components adhere to the required specifications for each production run.
• Operate equipment to grip and bend golf club shafts and club heads in accordance with design
• standards.
• Adjust settings and modify components as needed to meet quality benchmarks.
• Alter and fine-tune components prior to the final assembly process.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow clear, written instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Familiarity with product styles and ability to identify part numbers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
