About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Finance team in sunny San Diego! This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing cross-functional projects, supporting stakeholders, and driving finance-related initiatives to successful completion.
In this role, you will:
- Drive project support and execution from initiation through delivery, utilizing Smartsheet and established processes.
- Coordinate and support cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication across all levels.
- Assist in the development of project plans, templates, and governance tools to maintain project discipline and organization.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and identify any roadblocks that may impede project goals.
- Provide valuable insights into project management best practices, contributing to the growth and maturity of our Finance PMO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project planning, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure teams stay on track toward timely project completion.
- Help develop and implement project governance processes using Smartsheet.
- Document lessons learned and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise workstream leads and teams on priorities and project implementation.
What We're Looking For:
- Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in project coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (Smartsheet preferred).
- Ability to work onsite 2-5 days a week.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting projects from concept to completion, including tracking milestones and resolving roadblocks.
- Ability to collaborate across business and IT teams to ensure clear prioritization of requirements.
- Experience managing risks and proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Familiarity with Agile PM practices is a plus!
