Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator
Location: Austell, GA or Jackson, MI

Overview:
Sunbelt Marketing, one of the largest and most successful privately held manufacturers’ representatives of Plumbing, Piping, HVAC/R products, is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator. This role reports directly to the Logistics Manager and involves working cross functionally with various departments across the organization. The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all logistics operations are executed efficiently and with high-quality standards. This position will support the Logistics Manager and core logistics program, including third-party logistics (3PL), and serve both internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align actions with organizational goals. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an Operations liaison between Sunbelt Marketing and its 3PL provider.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL operations managers.
• Provide operational support and guidance to the 3PL when necessary.
• Coordinate international deliveries to various warehouses.
• Schedule delivery appointments with customers, ensuring clear communication internally and externally.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with various ongoing projects and tasks.
• Resolve logistics-related problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Manage shipment schedules for internal customers.
• Provide tracking updates to customer service and sales teams when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• A strong customer service mindset, with a drive to go above and beyond for both internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative attitude and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to think laterally and solve problems effectively.
• Strong proficiency with integrated software systems.
• Understanding of international freight import processes.
• 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation related fields.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
