Sunbelt Properties is seeking a maintenance technician join our maintenance team that oversees around 300 multi-family units in Florence, SC. The person we are looking for is a self-motivated and performant individual who is interested in an opportunity to develop as a professional in a strong team-spirited environment working under an experienced and supportive corporate umbrella.
Responsibilities involve all aspects of the upkeep of the property, performing work orders, preventive maintenance, performing apartment turns and helping with subcontractor scheduling and coordination, and keeping up the grounds.
Must have 2 years experience in multifamily or residential maintenance, ideally 2 years experience in HVAC service and installation preferred, and some experience with renovations (basic carpentry, etc.).
Must have a truck, personal hand tools, driver's license, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, professional presentation, and attitude.
Must be available for after-hour and weekend emergencies on a rotating basis among other staff.
The position is subject to background screening and periodic drug and alcohol screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
