Job Description Summary

Traffic Control TechnicianAre you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to:• Develop a career track • Leverage your current skills while developing new skills • Work with an incredible team of people Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Traffic Control Technician. As a Traffic Control Technician, you will setup, maintain and pick up traffic control devices.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Loads and unloads traffic control equipment for delivery, setup and pick up.• Completes detailed paperwork.• Perform and assist in Flagging Operations, Road Closures, and Lane Closures.• Meets all requirements for safe equipment handling and storage. • Perform other duties assigned as by the manager. QUALIFICATIONS• High School Diploma or equivalent., preferred • Valid driver’s license.• A.T.S.S.A certification a plus.• 1 year's experience in traffic control.• Well organized.• Use of hand tools.• Forklift operation.• Flexible work schedule.The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $16.02 - 23.02

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
