What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Full Service Technician - Stacking position at SUNBELT SOLOMON SERVICES, LLC?
This position is responsible for the stacking process for a rewind transformer. Hours are Friday-Sunday 12 hour shift with guaranteed 40 hours.
Day to day this role includes:
- Using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurement which are used in the rewind process.
- Using a series of hand tools to complete the stacking of core steel.
- Cutting transformer lids
- Basic data entry into labor system (MOM)
- Practicing safe behaviors by wearing proper protective equipment when handling core steel.
- May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary.
- Must be willing and able to complete repetitive processes and stand for 8-10 hours a day.
- Cross train on set up, and teardown as needed
- Other duties as assigned
