What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Service Technician - Tester position at Sunbelt Solomon?
The Full Service Technician is responsible to assemble and disassemble voltage regulators . Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.
- Read and follow work order instructions to ensure your rebuilding transformers to customer specifications.
- Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage.
- Reconditioning and reassembly of regulators will include but is not limited to cleaning and inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing the oil and basic repairs
- Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation
- Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems on voltage regulators and repair as needed.
- Elevate complex issues such as larger voltages, unusual nameplates, and more complex testing issues.
- Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.?
- Usage of overhead crane and other material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
- HS Diploma / GED preferred.
- Mechanical and transformer experience preferred.
- OSHA10 certification preferred.
- Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
- Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
- Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders.
- Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.
- Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
- Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.

Lift 50lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times
