Description
This role is responsible for overseeing Territory Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers in the End User Vertical, ensuring the achievement of revenue goals, and building strong relationships with key customers. The Sales Manager will develop and execute strategic sales plans, support customer acquisition and retention, and drive an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, the Sales Manager will mentor the team, provide industry insights, provide recommendations for fleet acquisition and collaborate on process improvements. The NTSM will act as a technical resource for the Project Manager and Sales Teams for both the Re-Rent and End User Verticals.
- High Level Account Management : Establish and maintain key relationships within the End User customer base. The focus will be on General Managers, Engineers and Owners. Monitor customer feedback and address concerns to continuously improve the customer experience. Assist with invoice collections. Support the sales team with technical customer training and technical customer presentations.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the sales team to maximize individual and team performance. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing sales culture.
- Technical Support : Act as the technical expert for the sales team, providing guidance and support on complex customer needs and tailor technical solutions to meet specific requirements. Assist in developing technical proposals and presentations that illustrate the unique value of distribution solutions.
- Revenue Goal Achievement : Drive the team to meet or exceed revenue goals by implementing effective sales strategies. Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data driven adjustments to achieve targets. Identify opportunities for growth and create strategies to expand market share.
- Competitor and Market Analysis : Investigate, analyze, document, communicate, and strategize on competitor and market information for the power rental industry to monitor industry trends and adjust the sales strategy accordingly.
- Development and Execution of Sales Strategy : Working with the Director of USA Rentals, an annual sales strategy will be developed, and execution of the strategy will be the responsibility of the NTSM. Throughout the year, as markets and the competitive landscape change, the NTSM is expected to offer suggestions and changes to the strategy accordingly.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities : Develop and maintain relationships with other Sunbelt Solomon business units to promote cross sell opportunities within the organization.
- Travel : The expectation is to be "out of town" 40-50% of the time. This could be for tradeshows, customer site visits, TAM / SAM customer meetings, presentations, etc.
- Other duties as may be required to support the team as required by the Company's needs.
