We are seeking a Quotations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and management of service quotations for electrical testing and engineering projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of electrical testing services, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare, review, and manage detailed quotations for electrical testing, engineering, and maintenance services.
- Analyze project specifications, customer requirements, and technical documentation to generate accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NETA testing standards, industry trends, and company service offerings.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and material costs.
- Track and follow up on submitted quotations, responding to customer inquiries and providing revisions as needed.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for upselling and value-added services.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing, terms, and scope of work across all proposals.
- Maintain a database of historical pricing, projects, and cost analysis for future reference.
- Previous experience in electrical estimating, quotations, or a similar role within the electrical industry.
- Familiarity with NETA testing procedures, NFPA, IEEE, and other relevant electrical standards.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, equipment, and maintenance services.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and estimating software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Experience in a NETA-certified company or electrical testing/maintenance firm.
- Knowledge of contract terms, proposal writing, and negotiation techniques.
