We are searching for a results-driven territory account manager to join our expanding sales team and oversee the (insert) region. Your duties will include devising sales plans, managing relationships with existing and targeted clients, and maintaining in-depth account profiles on key clients.
- Preparation of quotations and entering orders per customer specifications.
- Scheduling and planning of customer site visits.
- Working with operations to ensure customer orders and expectations are met.
- Drive new business by seeking out opportunities with new and existing customers, close on customer orders.
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships in order to generate profitable sales.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, required.
- 3-5 years sales experience in electrical utility industry, preferred.
- Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
- A dependable and strong work ethic.
- Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding needs analysis, business development and closing skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Excellent task and time management skills
- Strong technical background including either power technologist or electrical trade certification with a mathematical aptitude
- Understanding of temporary power products and services
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including working beyond regular hours
- Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce experience would be considered an asset)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Strong computer literacy is essential with intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite of products
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Ability to work collaboratively within the Sales team and with the Operations team
- High degree of professionalism and maturity
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to take direction and accept responsibility
- Journeyperson Electrician (considered an asset)
- Experience with the SAPB1 ERP (considered an asset)
