We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Sunbelt Solomon.
About the Role
This position involves driving company vehicles to transport goods and ensuring timely delivery. The driver will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Federal DOT and FMCSA regulations, including completing proper load documentation and ensuring loads are properly secured.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and defensive driving record.
- Complete loading and unloading paperwork efficiently.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other drivers.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL issued in KS or able to obtain one within 30 days.
- Three years of safe driving experience required.
- A Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a pre-employment screening, including a DOT drug test.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Preferred: experience in completing loading and unloading paperwork, knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturing operations, and logistics.
