What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder - Three Phase Padmounts position at Sunbelt Solomon?
- Air arc and plasma touch to remove lids on single and three-phase pads.
- Use fabrication tools such as plasma, stud guns, and welders.
- Take accurate measurements for modifications to transformers.
- Leak check welds on transformers with fluid or nitrogen in them.
- MIG Weld transformer lids.
- Weld leaks using Arc welding.
- Fabrication of pad cabinets and other parts.
- Assists builders when needed.
- Previous welding experience required.
- Mechanical experience preferred.
- Ability to pass welding test.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
