Travel Cath Lab Technician
Location: Huntley, IL
Shift: 0700-1730- 4/10s.On call- 1-3 days a week and every other 3rd weekend
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our team in Huntley, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians during complex PCI procedures, diagnostic LHC, and implantations of PPMs, ICDs, and stents
- Scrubbing EP and structural cases, including LAAO
- Operating X-ray and ultrasound imaging equipment
- Monitoring patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters
- Preparing and maintaining sterile fields
- Assisting with patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Adhering to strict infection control protocols
Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Valid IL State License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician
- Proven experience in complex PCI, diagnostic LHC, and implant procedures
- Strong knowledge of EP and structural heart procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and emergency situations
