Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with a variety of cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Preparing and maintaining sterile equipment and instruments
- Monitoring patient vital signs and procedural data
- Operating and troubleshooting specialized medical equipment
- Administering contrast media under physician supervision
- Documenting patient information and procedural details
- Performing post-procedural care and patient education
- Conducting routine maintenance and quality checks on lab equipment
- Adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- ARRT and BLS certifications required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
