Travel CT Technologist Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Chilton, Wisconsin.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your primary focus will be providing exceptional patient care while ensuring accurate diagnoses and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals
- Position patients correctly and safely on the scanner bed
- Administer contrast media as required by medical professionals
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and test results
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care
Requirements:
- ARRT(R) certification or registration
- Ability to work evenings, including shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday
- Weekend availability, working every third weekend with a shift time of 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by on-call duty from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Ability to perform CT and diagnostic x-ray exams using EPIC software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
