Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist
Location: Pocatello, ID
Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) | 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team for a travel position in Pocatello, ID. This role requires expertise in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for CVOR procedures.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular operations.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow all hospital policies and protocols, including safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current).
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or equivalent.
  • Idaho State License (if applicable for surgical technologists).
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Previous travel experience is a plus.

Contract Details:

• Assignment Length: Typically 13 weeks (extensions possible).
• Shift: Day shift (5x8-hour shifts), Monday through Friday, 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM.
