Responsibilities : As a School-Based CNA, your responsibilities will include :
- Assisting the school nurse in providing direct healthcare services to students under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Supporting students with activities of daily living, including toileting, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed.
- Monitoring and recording students' vital signs and health status under the direction of the school nurse.
- Assisting with the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers and following school district policies.
- Providing emotional support and comfort to students who may be experiencing illness or injury.
- Maintaining a clean and organized healthcare environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the well-being of all students.
