We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support a middle school Behavior Program (BIC) near Four Corners, Oregon . This role involves working with students with moderate to severe behavioral needs and providing both classroom and additional support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide targeted instruction and behavioral support to students in a Behavior Program setting, with a caseload of 5-7 students .
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support students outside of the self-contained environment.
- Develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans to meet individual student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions and strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional and academic growth.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students in achieving their IEP goals.
