As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, providing specialized instruction and support, and collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure that all students receive an inclusive education that meets their unique needs. You will also be responsible for working with students who require credit recovery, post grad students and helping with work experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- CT special education license REQUIRED
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
