We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Pine Bluff, AR. This role involves working with K-3 students in a self-contained classroom. Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, 7:45 AM3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Location: Pine Bluff, AR.
- Grade Levels: K-3 Self-Contained Classroom.
- Overtime: Overtime will only be approved with prior approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction in a self-contained classroom setting.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education (Masters preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education in Arkansas.
- Experience working with K-3 students in a self-contained classroom is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
