Medical Pediatric Nurse Syracuse, NY
We are seeking experienced Medical Pediatric Nurses for our inpatient pediatric float pool. The role will require you to float to various pediatric units, including the Bio Behavioral Unit, providing medical care to pediatric patients (no psych experience required). The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center, with a strong foundation in pediatric nursing.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, providing support across multiple pediatric locations. Floating to different units will be required, so flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new settings is key.
Shift : Two days and two nights (12-hour shifts)
13-week contract
Required :
- 2 years of experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center, with pediatric care experience
- ARRT, ALS, BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to float to different pediatric units as needed
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
