Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Occupational Therapist to join our networkand remotely support a school district in Illinois. This is a full-time, 1099 contract position with the flexibility to work fully from home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual occupational therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students motor skills, sensory integration, and functional needs.
- Utilize teletherapy tools and resources to deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Illinois OT license (PEL)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting (preferred).
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to a virtual work environment.
