School-based BCBA opening near Tinley Park, IL

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at a therapeutic day school in Tinley Park, IL, for the remainder of the current school year. This contracted position offers flexible hours (full or part-time), providing behavioral support and intervention services for students ages 3-22.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
• Provide direct behavioral therapy and support for students with varying developmental and behavioral needs.
• Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement behavior strategies across settings.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and behavior data.
• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management when needed.

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and other behavioral and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and interventions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
