Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for a 26-week travel assignment in Fairbanks, AK. Position Details:
- Location: Fairbanks, AK
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Monday-Friday
- Shift: 8-hour days (8:30a-5:30p)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate patient diagnosis.
- Operate radiographic equipment in a variety of settings, maintaining patient safety and adhering to protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and imaging results.
- Ensure proper documentation and handling of imaging results within the EMR system.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the imaging process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
- ARRT Certification with Radiography registry
- AHA BLS Certification
- Strong understanding of radiographic equipment, imaging techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
