Travel Surgical Tech in Syracuse, New York

Sunbelt Staffing isseeking experienced Surgical Technologists (Surg Techs) to join our dedicated team in Syracuse, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in a variety of surgical specialties, including Robotics, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Vascular, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Provide sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.
• Scrub in for a variety of procedures including Robotics, Neuro, Ortho, General, ENT, Vascular, and GYN.
• Work alongside surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and the smooth operation of the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist with the cleaning and sterilization of instruments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience (within the last 4 years) in an operating room, ideally within a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or teaching hospital.
• Experience in a variety of specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Vascular, ENT, GYN, and Robotics.
• Certification preferred (Certified Surgical Technologist - CST).
• Scrub experience required.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Travelers: First-time travelers will only be considered if they have experience in hospitals of equal size to our facility.
