Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Job for School based in Nebraska
Sunbelt is hiring a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in Nebraska.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized therapy to students with reading and writing difficulties, including those with dyslexia
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans that integrate literacy strategies
- Conduct dyslexia screenings and assessments to help identify underlying speech-language issues affecting reading and writing
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement classroom strategies for improving literacy
- Attend IEP meetings and provide progress updates based on assessment results
Caseload Information:
- Grades: 1st 8th
- Caseload: 15 students
- Focus on literacy challenges, dyslexia interventions, and reading comprehension
Job Details:
- Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Pay: Competitive flat hourly rate, based on experience
- Location: Virtual, school is based in Nebraska
Minimum Requirements:
- SLP license in your state of residence, as well as Nebraska
- ASHA CCCs
- Two years of school-based SLP experience
- One year of teletherapy experience
- Experience working with dyslexia and literacy interventions preferred
