We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our vibrant team at Sunberry Restaurant and Bar, a bustling high-volume restaurant located in the heart of downtown Hartford!

We are looking for a server with availability for Tuesday and Sunday preferably
```Duties```
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible drinking
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a bartender/server or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food handling guidelines
- Experience in catering or event bartending is an asset
- Strong hospitality and sales skills to upsell drinks and promote specials
- Understanding of the food industry and knowledge of different types of beverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
