Job Summary
The Cannabis Grow Operations Specialist position at Sunburn Cannabis involves performing manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing medicinal cannabis. The ideal candidate will excel as a team member within a tightly controlled, state-regulated system and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transplanting, pruning, moving plants, watering, harvesting, trimming, applications, potting, shipping, and loading.
- General duties around the garden related to its upkeep.
- Maintaining knowledge of growing techniques, including Fertigation, Cloning, and Transplantation.
- Spotting plant pests and other perils before they become a problem.
- Following protocols and Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs).
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Executing techniques consistently.

- Able to work effectively in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas.
- Must be safety-aware.
- Bachelor's Degree or Horticultural Certification.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with daily operating hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Subject to change). The employee will work inside a controlled warehouse/greenhouse environment and must have suitable clothing.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver between growing tables that are 24 inches apart. Repeatedly carrying 15-20 pounds throughout the warehouse/greenhouse is also required.
