Job Description
The Memorial Installer is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and installing memorials at cemeteries and customer locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a truck-mounted crane and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination and Preparation: Organize daily route planning, coordinate with sales teams and cemetery sextons, and prepare installation sites by digging level foundations while safely operating company vehicles.
- System Updates and Relationship Management: Regularly update systems with completed installs, respond to calls and emails promptly, and maintain healthy relationships with sales staff, sextons, supervisors, and customers.
- Inventory Management and Delivery Assistance: Maintain pre-cast inventory levels to meet demand, assist with unloading memorials from delivery trucks, and perform or schedule preventative maintenance for company vehicles.
- Product Inspection and Off-Season Projects: Inspect and repair products as needed, assist with winter projects as directed, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
