We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Duties

• Operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries, adapting as necessary to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transport.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and inventory needs.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and operating forklifts when required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with commercial driving practices and route navigation is beneficial.
• Experience in moving or heavy lifting is an asset, as the role requires physical stamina.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this position.
