The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, implementing HR policies and programs, and supporting the organization’s goals through effective people management practices. This role serves as a critical link between leadership and staff, ensuring a positive work environment while maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and execute HR programs, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
- Support department managers in workforce planning, employee development, and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems, personnel files, and internal documentation.
- Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across all employment practices.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and training programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill, engagement scores).
- Address employee concerns and complaints in a confidential and objective manner.
- Support annual HR activities such as performance reviews, compensation planning, and open enrollment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations.
- Proficiency with HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
