JOB D E S C R I P T I O N
POSITION: Brand Manager
OVERVIEW: Promote and manage assigned Suncoast Beverage Suppliers, and their product portfolios within our market footprint. Responsible for scheduled sales calls in specified accounts on a regular basis. Assume leadership responsibilities in sales and customer service. Accountable for forecasting product and inventory management of assigned suppliers, as well as the Communication and Execution of Programs and KPI’s. This position reports directly to either a Sales or Marketing Director, depending on the specific Suppliers that are assigned to the Brand Manager.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume all specific job responsibilities related to the Brand Manager position, including but not limited to:
- Compare and evaluate retail accounts, and market sales, and analyze all pertinent sales information monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Monitor display tracking forms to evaluate performance and address executional gaps (Weekly/Monthly) *To include EOM roll-up of results.
- Provide monthly Chain sales recap completed with ad comparisons by the end of the 1st week of the next month.
- Complete yearly chain Business plans to include executional calendar as well as key KPI objectives that need to accomplish. (To be completed by end of January)
- Conduct and manage in market visits and account rides with retailer management personnel, supplier representatives, as well as SBS personnel.
- Scheduled on a quarterly basis (Shared Calendar).
- Create and adhere to a consistent meeting/call schedule with the top volume chains and Management contacts.
- Create and adhere to a consistent monthly market ride schedule with Acct Mgrs. and TL’s.
- Work the market to assist and verify execution on key programs/ad support.
- Responsible for Sales execution and improving market share
- Development of localized custom Sales programing by chain
- Create frontline Selling tools/presentations for the Sales Team to improve execution and commitment in the market.
- Sell-in customized price features.
- Participate in building and tracking sales incentives.
- Assist with Brand Promotions, Sampling opportunities, Display building, and POS installment.
- Sell in incremental distribution on focus brands and packages.
- Auditing performance to ensure that all executional gaps are closed.
- Address and communicate any customer service needs or issues.
- Work with SBS Operations team to resolve issues and improve execution.
- Utilize Anheuser-Busch M360 Program Software as well as customized Survey tools.
- Conduct Account Manager Ride-withs and Team Sells as needed.
- Participation in Company meetings, as well as outside meetings with Suppliers, or Retailers.
- Able to create and present impactful sales presentations to a group of people.
- Manage Supplier Business Plan objectives and goals.
- Forecast and manage inventories.
- Manage Supplier visits and market ride schedules.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accounts receivable and, or payable information.
- Including collecting outstanding payments or issuing credits for product/invoices pertaining to accounts within the territory.
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Training Requirements
- Required to complete training in a timely manner, or time frame asked by Suncoast Beverage Sales HR Department or immediate Supervisor.
- Responsible for the adherence to company standards, guidelines, policy, and procedures.
- Ensure that a call record book is maintained and that Account calls are made on a Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly basis. (This must be Digital through M360).
- Any other tasks, as requested by management
- Compare and evaluate retail accounts, and market sales, and analyze all pertinent sales information monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

- Complete all required Training for the position, including but not limited to, ABU Selling, ABU Coaching, Impact Excellence, etc.
