This position ensures that daily maintenance tasks, including trash removal and restroom sanitation, are completed consistently to uphold a positive donor experience. Additionally, a deep cleaning of both facilities will be conducted twice per month.
This role requires travel between Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch, with an allocated driving time between sites. The position offers flexible hours and requires at least one year of general housekeeping experience in a public setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of general housekeeping experience in a public or professional setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependability and consistency in completing scheduled tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required for travel between sites.

JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
- Remove trash and replace liners in public spaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in common areas.
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and counters.
- Replace paper products in public space, restrooms, and cafeterias.
Deep Cleaning (Twice Monthly):
- Perform deep cleaning of all restrooms, including grout cleaning and fixture sanitization.
- Dust and sanitize hard-to-reach areas in public spaces.
- Scrub, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
- Conduct thorough trash removal and waste disposal.
Travel and Logistics:
- Drive between Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch locations as scheduled.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
- Report any facility maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
