What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygienist (RDH) Mobile/Portable position at Suncoast Community Health Centers Inc.?
POSITION TITLE: DENTAL HYGIENIST
FSLA: EXEMPT

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited Hygiene program
- Valid Florida Dental Hygiene License
- Able to work in harmony with other dental staff
- Self-Motivated
- BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive day and night and ability go get to and from work without a set schedule are required.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Participation in a community based/school linked sealant program
- Assist in developing programs to increase access to preventive dental services in low-income populations
- Provide dental health education lesson plans at schools, community centers, etc.
- Placement of dental sealants
- Dental prophylaxis and polishing.
- Oral hygiene instructions
- Topical fluoride application
- Cleaning and sterilization of dental hygiene instruments
- Cleaning and maintenance of dental hygiene equipment and treatment areas
- Ability to go/come from work without a set schedule is required.
- Home site is where the Coach/Portable is based for the day; travel is not paid
- Other duties as assigned
