POSITION TITLE: LCSW - LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
FLSA: EXEMPT
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- LCSW license/certification required.
- Two to four years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Experienced in substance abuse counseling.
- Ability to write routine reports.
- Ability to speak effectively.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule forms.
- BLS required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Conduct client screening, assessments, and brief treatment sessions; develop and implement treatment/care plans for patients.
- Provide case management services for patients.
- Provide individual, group and family therapy, as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain clinical records.
- Submit reports as required.
- Participate in care management and team meetings.
- Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies.
- Provide feedback to resource agencies.
- Provide crisis intervention, when needed.
- Participate in staff development activities.
- Serve as a mentor to Non-Exempt Counseling staff, when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
